'Scuse Me While I Miss the Sky
Three Gays of the Condo
Dude, Where's My Ranch?

Production information

  • Homer's Pin Pals T-shirt from "Team Homer" and Mr. Plow jacket from "Mr. Plow" are seen in the cupboard. His Pin Pals shirt was last seen in the ownership of John, so Homer must have gotten it back.
  • When Homer argues with Marge over breakfast, she mentions they have been married for 10 years. However, they celebrated their 11th anniversary in "Natural Born Kissers". In Dangers on a Train they would also celebrate their 10th anniversary.

  • "Weird Al" Yankovic's song "Homer and Marge" is a parody of John Mellencamp's song "Jack & Diane".
    • Homer also mentions sending Al his lyrics for two parody songs, "Livin' la Pizza Loca" (a parody of Ricky Martin's "Livin' la Vida Loca") and "Another One Bites the Crust" (a parody of Queen's "Another One Bites the Dust"). Notably, Al has parodied "Another One Bites the Dust" before, with the song "Another One Rides the Bus".
  • Homer refers to Maggie as Silent Bob.
  • The restaurant Homer and Marge eat at is a parody of Medieval Times.
  • When Homer was looking for the missing puzzle piece in the wardrobe he said, "Come out and play" was from the movie The Warriors.

  • Beside Kirk's sofa there was a door with no doorknob. In the next shot, there's a corner wall.
  • There were no tram lines at the gay neighbourhood when Homer first walks around it, but they appear when he was talking to Smithers.
