In Brazilian dubbing, the part where Bart and Lisa talk that Brazil "is the most disgusting ever visited" was modified to not be offensive. The dialogue, translated into English:
Lisa: Yuck! This is the most disgusting place we've ever gone!
Bart: Really, you think so?
Lisa: If I said so, it's because I think so.

As of its current airing, this episode has three edits made.
In Channel 4 airings, Moe's line: "Wow. Even I ain't hopin' for porn." is shortened to just him saying "wow".
The scene where Homer is shown the crew member with the pen knife is altered so said person's dialogue is removed, it's unknow why this was done.
Original Airings of this episode also removed the scene where the Police officer who hung himself in the silent movie was sent to hell. Nelson's laugh was also moved to where he hung himself as well. Later airings removed the scene of him hanging himself completely.
