The Saga of Carl |
|
References
- Carl previously mentions his icelandic childhood in 'Scuse Me While I Miss the Sky.
- In the final speech, Homer talks about a market crash that occurred in Iceland. Although the real bank of Iceland suffered a crash in real life, this is not the first time the Simpsons have touched on the topic: in The Bob Next Door, Homer's failed loan single-handedly causes the crash.
- The Fjord Fjiesta that Homer, Lenny and Moe rented is a parody of the Ford Fiesta.
- Carl's car in Iceland is similar to a Mercedes-Benz W108
