The Seventeenth Season is the title of the home video release of Season 17 of The Simpsons. It was released on December 2, 2014 for Region 1 and December 1, 2014 for Region 2, and it was available in DVD and Blu-ray formats.
The box set comes in two varieties: a limited edition Sideshow Bob head-shaped box and a standard rectangular box with artwork prominently featuring Sideshow Bob.

Trivia
- According to showrunner Al Jean's Twitter page on Wednesday, April 8, 2015, it says that both Blu-ray and DVD releases of the show will be discontinued[1] because he is running out of characters, and neither seasons 18 nor 19 will even be released on DVD or Blu-ray despite coming close to its 20th season. Every episode of the show, however, are still availible on FXX (Mon.-Sun.—excluded on Wednesdays and Saturdays) and its FXNOW app.
- This is the first and only boxset to have been given a '15' rating by the BBFC. All previous boxsets were either rated 'PG' or '12'.
