Some Simpsons episodes are based on movies such as the Season 9 finale Natural Born Kissers which is a parody of the movie Natural Born Killers. Did you know former President Bush's wife called The Simpsons "the dumbest thing she had ever seen". Sometimes these episodes (espically love episodes) cause you to randomly check on things not your age. Check out for the Season 27 with it's starting episode Every Man's Dream which will air on Sep. 27 2015. The show will end in 2 or 4 more years. So there might be Season 29 and 30. But it is official that there will be Season 27 and 28. The plot for Every Man's Dream is told but it's end is not told but obvious.
Plot
Homer is diagnosed with narcolepsy. Instead of returning home with the prescription medication, he returns home drunk. He and Marge go to a marriage counselor and have a trial separation. During that time, Homer starts dating a twentysomething pharmacist. But obviously at end Homer and Marge stay together. Here are future episodes:

Cue Detective: Homer will go into the underworld of barbecues.
Treehouse of Horror XXVI: Bart will be killed by Sideshow Bob in this non-canon fantasy of terror.
Friend With Benefit: Lisa befriend a rich boy named Harper who's father becomes friends with Homer. Soon, Lisa starts to think Harper might be a little too entitled.
