Swartzwelder County borders Springfield and is in Springfield's State. It appeared in "Dog of Death" and is named after John Swartzwelder, who wrote the episode.

Santa's Little Helper travels to Swartzwelder County when going on an adventure after running away from the Simpsons' house. He helps save a homeowner whose house has caught fire there.
