[edit] Plot
When Maggie eats a magazine Marge demands that Homer goes to the grocery store to pick up some food. Whilst there Homer (and all the other shoppers) offends the bag boy there causing all the bag boys in Springfield to go on strike, the bag boys prevent anyone from carrying they're groceries to their cars. When all the food in the house is eaten Homer becomes desperate and goes in the search of some food. Santa's Little Helper finds a 30 year old box of crackers. Homer bites into a giraffe shaped cracker and realizes its made of gold which means that the family has won a trip to Africa. The makers of the animals crackers, who aren't selling food anymore refuse them the trip but when Homer hurts himself on the corner of the box they reconsider as they don't want to be sued.
When the family arrive in Africa they join in a tribal dance but get chased by a hippo and they escape by jumping on a raft which is going down a raging river. The Simpsons are saved just in time by Dr. Bushwell. Dr. Bushwell tells the Simpsons that she is in Africa because she is researching monkeys. But it turns out that she enslaves the monekys and makes the work in a nearby diamond mine! Because she thinks that the Simpsons are going to report them, she decides to bribe them with diamonds. Everyone accepts the diamond apart from Lisa. The Simpsons then leave Africa and go back home to Springfield.
