Homer and his pals play pool on a table but it's Ned Flanders' house and they got in cause Chief Wiggum used his skeleton key. Homer explains to Marge about the plan to convert the basement to a pool room but Marge says that the basement needs cleaning and that means getting rid of the Olmec head Homer accumulated from Mr. Burns despite Homer saying that what if he comes over to visit, Marge reminds him that Burns doesn't know Homer's name as is.

Krusty is involved in a battle with his co-stars who want to be paid extra for their upcoming primetime TV special but Krusty refuses cause all the profits have to go to Fat Tony and the co-stars refuse to budge along with Fat Tony who wants his money. Just then Ms. Pennycandy shows Krusty a classified ad for an Olmec head that Krusty needs for a sketch.

Krusty and Ms. Pennycandy try to get the head from the basement but Homer left stuff on the steps and Krusty gets a concussion. Krusty feigns his injuries cause he pictured the Simpson family to be his sidekicks replacing Sideshow Mel and the rest. And if the Simpsons refuse, he can throw a lawsuit at their heads. However, the plan goes badly as Sideshow Mel and company along with Fat Tony see Krustylu Studios people load stuff in a car for Evergreen Terrace. And Krusty gets a king sized can of tuna marking that Fat Tony knows he and the Simpsons are inside and if Krusty doesn't relent, they all go down. Marge refuses to have her family a part of the primetime special but has to go along with it cause if she doesn't, the Simpsons get sued.

The special begins and Homer is supposed to be Corporal Punishment but he casually is in his underwear during the sketch before Fat Tony tries to break it up. We see Marge Bart and Lisa be forced to endure the shenanigans. Just before the Olemc head sketch, Ms Pennycandy tells them that she may have a plan to get the Simpsons out of their predicament and to teach Krusty that he can't use other people to hide behind when he does something wrong. Using the striking workers, they humiliate Krusty, they get their bonus checks and Krusty must do dishes for Fat Tony until the check clears. Homer learns to appreciate the Olmec head and to break into Flanders' house to play pool.
