Second-Best Western Hotel is a hotel in Capital City; the name is modeled after the Best Western hotel chain. It makes two appearances in Season 14: "Bart vs. Lisa vs. the Third Grade" and "Mr. Spritz Goes to Washington"; it also appears in "D'oh Canada".
In "Bart vs. Lisa vs. the Third Grade", the 3rd grade class stays there overnight during their field trip to Capital City.
In "Mr. Spritz Goes to Washington", the Simpsons and Krusty go to see the result of the congressional election at the Second-Best Western Hotel.
In "D'oh Canada", the Simpson family (except Lisa, who is in Canada) stay in a motel-style Second-Best Western Hotel in Niagara Falls. This location has the most resemblance to a real-life Best Western hotel, complete with a sign that resembles the Best Western logo used from 1993-2010.
