History
He is a dog of a distant cousin of Bart, Lisa and Maggie. This fact reveals to Bart that the two are related only because their dogs are brothers, showing him a picture of the two dogs together.
The dog in the photo is wearing a straw hat and instead of the collar has a rope, making it a dog farmer. He also has a piece of straw in his mouth.
