Sabertooth Meadow was an undeveloped area of Springfield, before the Heavenly Hills Mall was built on the land. A lot of fossils, including an Angel Fossil, were discovered here.

Part of the area was the host of an archaeological dig by Springfield Elementary School students, where Lisa found an "angel" fossil (which later turned out to be a hoax and as a decoration of the mall's exterior).
