Ron Howard is a famous movie producer, director and actor. He had appeared twice as himself on The Simpsons in the episodes "When You Dish Upon a Star" and "Hello Gutter, Hello Fadder". He was set to appear in "Children of a Lesser Clod", but dropped out for unknown reasons.

Ron Howard was voted 12th in IGN's "Top 25 Simpsons Guest Stars".
