Trivia Edit

  • During the end of the Dixie Chicks first song, the violin could still be heard playing, even though the bow was clearly not on the strings.
  • Kent Brockman announces on television that Lurleen's career went into a downwards spiral many years ago, right after Bart and Lisa bring up the fact that Homer once managed her, causing rifts between him and Marge, which was the plot of the 1992 episode "Colonel Homer". However, due to the floating timeline of the series, it wouldn't make sense for Brockman to mention that it took place many years ago since the characters are all the same ages (and will continue to be). The floating timeline causes episodes from 1990-now to be considered canon, yet still take place in "one year" since the characters don't age.
