Nedward Flanders Sr.

Nedward Flanders Sr. is the father of Ned Flanders and the husband of Mona Flanders. He is a beatnik. He is seen in the episode "Hurricane Neddy" when he and his wife bring Ned to Dr. Foster. In Flanders' Book of Faith, his name is Nedsel Flanders. In the episode: "Raging Abe Simpson and His Grumbling Grandson in "The Curse of the Flying Hellfish"", it is said that he was in the army, during World War II, and was known as Major Flanders, and was a superior of Abraham Simpson .
