History
In the episode The President Wore Pearls he came to see Lisa Simpson after her student strike (and also reported on Kent Brockman's news station that it is 10% more likely for students to become unemployed and end up on one of his movies if they don't take music or art, and implied that he got his statistics from Kent Brockman's mom when asked by Brockman where he got them).
In Bart-Mangled Banner was also a prisoner at the Ronald Reagan Reeducation Center. He was mentioned to have been wrongly imprisoned.
