This concern of yours is only discussed on the Muppet Wiki, not this Wiki. As for the user who didn't respond, I think the user is offline for a while. Sorry, but the thread was closed because it's an issue that we at Simpsons Wiki don't need help for and should only be helped by the people at Muppet Wiki.
Okay. I'll unprotect it. But, this wikia needs the official images of characters. The one you were trying to place in the infobox for Dracula instead of the official Tapped Out artwork that I uploaded is a grabpic. We don't allow grabpics on this Wiki, because grabpics are basically images of characters taken from an episode screencap or other media, and edited with Paint or Photoshop to make it a higher resolution, thus making grabpics unofficial. That is why I was trying to replace the grabpic with the Tapped Out artwork and place the grabpic in the gallery, but you keep reverting my edits to yours.
So, please understand that grabpics can be placed in an external gallery and not in an infobox of the character. Again, grabpics are unofficial and the Tapped Out artwork I uploaded is official.
I don't think that is going to happen. That is considered fan-fiction and should only be allowed in the Simpsons Fanon Wikia. We at Simpsons Wikia only allow real information about the show to be posted, so posting fan fiction on here will be deleted. If a user repeats adding fan-fiction on here, though, it will be blocked.
Hello, I have noticed that you have been stealing content from Wikisimpsons, including content that I myself wrote. This is against the wiki's license and you must either not steal content or credit Wikisimpsons in the article. Please see the Creative Commons license page for details. https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/
If you want to continue using content from Wikisimpsons, you must provide a link to the page the content came from on the article here, clearly stating it was taken from there.
I informed LucienTP to write plots rather than steal from other sites. As for Mr. Walmsley here, he was blocked again for making another account, despite being blocked six years ago and blocked repeatedly afterward.
So what do you think of this whole situation? I'm personally not providing any link to a site over content that anyone could write.
That to me sounds like someone is trying to get us to play by their rules, but as you can see I don't bend over backwards for people like that.
Oops. My bad. I will not do it again. I was just getting this Wikia up to date with new characters, locations, etc from Season 29 (and new characters, locations, etc pre-Season 29), because the season just started nine days ago and it looks like that this Wikia is pretty outdated on new characters, locations, etc. while Wikisimpsons are always up to date with the new characters and stuff. Again, I will not copy from Wikisimpsons again, and I was just making this Wikia up to date.
Mythigator here, speaking on behalf of Wikisimpsons ... Thanks for addressing things, DJ. As long as people know to please not copy and paste from other wikis (we have the same policy, BTW), all should be OK.
Thanks for calling me cute. Also, I never knew that you have Autism, too. Nice. Is it high-funtioning like I have, or the regular Autism that I don't have?
Oh, btw, I'm sorry to say this, but since I am the new administrator to this wikia, and since I'm a big fan of The Simpsons because of that, I can't chat with you. I'm sorry, but administrators need to do their thing. Okay?
Look I know you closed the thread because it was useless quote on quote but I was only trying to talk to her and have a normal conversation with her I'm sorry but no one's ever on live chat here how else am I supposed to reach her
You can private message her in the chat instead of going onto her user talk page. That is for contacting and discussing issues. That is done in public, so if you want to continue to talk to her, consider starting a private conversation in the chat. But, you do need to ask her if she wants to be in private chat with you.
Here's the link to the private chat so that way you and her can talk privately instead of on her talk page: Chat
I noticed that your community was not yet using Discussions, our Forum feature replacement we developed for our communities last year. We realize your community does not currently use Special:Forums but please consider allowing us to enable Discussions anyway, as it provides more benefits to your community than it's predecessor. We have already switched all new communities to Discussions and are manually enabling it on established communities who are interested in having the feature available for their users.
Discussions is a feature that lives in it's own environment on the community that users can use to post questions, thoughts, images, links and even videos. They can upvote posts and even share them on social media. Discussions is very mobile friendly and both mobile app and desktop users can post in real time with each other. Users can edit their posts for the first 24 hours, but Admins and Moderators can edit posts anytime. Users can report posts they feel do not comply with our guidelines, or that of the community. Admins and Moderators can remove them. We give you the tools you need. Since the introduction of Discussions, we have seen a pretty big increase in mobile views and community interaction. You can find more information on Discussions here.
Let me know if your community would like to have Discussions enabled on the community and the FANDOM Simpsons Wiki dedicated app. I would be happy to take care of it for you. If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know.
Okay. Much appreciated. Let me know if others are in agreement and I will enable it on the community immediately. Getting it enabled on the app will take a little longer but I will put the request in to our app team as soon as I have the approval.
Hello! No response from the third admin but they haven't been active for a while either. I would be happy to turn on Discussions today if you would like (or whenever you see this). Thanks for your help!
Ok, it is enabled on the community and I have put in the request to have it enabled on your mobile app. That will take a bit longer to get done but once it is, your mobile and desktop users will be able to use Discussions together in real time.
Anyone can report a user for a bad post. You can alter the Guidelines to be more specific and community related if needed. Use the Insights tool on the Discussions page (on the right) to see/approve/delete reported posts and track user activity. If at any time your Discussions explodes with users and you need help monitoring for a short while till it settles down (we have occasionally seen this happen once mobile users have it), we are here for you. Just let us know and someone will pitch in.
You can reach out to me any time with questions and concerns. :)
