I've noticed that there's a <ref /> error in the article Charles Montgomery Burns, which seem to happen since the "age" parameter in Template:Character has been removed earlier this year. Since the following parts of the page also use the same age refs, yet the parameter no longer exists, the initial ref cannot be found, and an error occurs.
Therefore, i'd recommend either adding the parameter back as an optional parameter, which will only appear if it is used in that article, or to have a special section for age. Just thought i should let you guys know.
There are two pages for this store which is located in the Towne Centre at Springfielde Glenne. It is from "The D'oh-cial Network" episode which I have access to. In one shot, the first letters are cut off and perhaps some users were not sure of the name. I have posted a photo to the "Puttering Barn" page showing it is in fact called the "Puttering" barn and not the "Pottering" barn. I think the "Pottering Barn" page should be removed. Or should one direct to the other?
Honestly, I'm only familiar with the first eight seasons of the show. I can't really edit content with authority on primarily post-season eight content.
I can make some bans and protect pages if you need me to though.
It's really just a question of adding rank titles to mobsters, when these cannot be sourced -- because nowhere in the series are these specified. Rationale's range maybe from synthesis, to fan fiction, to very questionable assumptions, to original research , to 'I doubt his name is really Don' <SMH>. (I guess if you don't speak Spanish and Portuguese, like me, you don't really understand what calling somebody "Don" (or "Dom") means.) Either I, or the FreshStart ('new' editor), need to discuss this insertion of fan fiction -- that's based on, well it must be (when that's not necessarily so) -- on the article talk page, to try to come to a consensus, either between us, or three or more editors.
I know that an edit war isn't the way, nor is tendentious editing.
Your 'handicap' isn't really a handicap at all, once the question is asked: "Where are these rank titles specified?" You could watch a million episodes, and never see or hear them specified, because they simply aren't, anywhere.
They way I see it is The Simpsons is too inconsistent for these pages ever be truly accurate when the writers completely disregard canon on a weekly basis. You guard what you feel is a reasonable* interpretation and if some aspects of the page (ie. rank titles) become too difficult to consense, then just remove it. I'm not exactly sure what it is you want me to do, but you edit at your own discretion - looking at the talk page you're clearly the only one considering these problems thoroughly. Again, I can semi-protect the page if you would like and maybe add in some citations/footnotes to build your case. (for example, two citations on Fat Tony, one discussing is apparent leadership role and the other mentioning Vittorio's potential position or what have you.)
I say this because you appear to be the closest thing to an expert on the subject. I would imagine most editors would be guessing or merely following information from a single source (eg. the corkboard). [PS: I forgot asterisks wouldn't work.]
