The Lying Down Bart Couch couch gag is the fifth couch gag of Season 3.

The family sit upon their couch, except Bart. He then leaps onto the family and lies on them. Newer episodes has Lisa, after Bart lays down, asking to Bart why he is laying down.

Simpsontasia has different animation. After the family sits, brooms came in splashing them. Bart comes in, dressed in his sorcerer's apprentice suit, puts down the suit and he lays down as usual.
