This article is about the character. For the guest star, see Lionel Richie.

Lionel Richie is a famous singer, who was singing on Mr. Burns' private jet to Homer.

He sings a song about beer to Homer on his request and then makes beer the only lyric being repeated constantly until Homer forgets the words to the song.

Richie is later seen on the other private jet that Homer hired, which crashes and he has troubles in being rescued as he refuses to let go of his awards, which weigh him down.

He likes to rub his success into other people's faces, too, and he tells the pilot of the helicopter to let go of his awards, as he has none.

Lionel Richie was later seen at Moe's Tavern while the town danced to his song, "All Night Long (All Night)".
