Bart, Maggie and Lisa are on the couch watching TV. Then Marge walks into the room.
Homer on the phone. He is eating a donut at the same time.
Marge on the other phone line to Homer.
Patty and Selma arrive with some slideshow film.

At the Kwik-E-Mart, a man who appears to be Krusty opens a microwave...
...and takes a bite out of a burrito.
Homer opens the ice cream freezer and sees Triple Chocalate" ice cream
"New flavor triple chocolate!!"
The man reads a magazine.
Homer arrives at the checkout.
Another shot of Homer buying his groceries, with the man ready to rob Apu.
Homer steps on the tip of the man's big floppy shoe.
"Ow, my foot you stupid, lousy, clumsy...!!!"
"Sorry pal..." The robber turning towards Homer.
Homer screaming in front of the robber.
Homer screams in terror from seeing a robbery in action...
...and dives head-first into the potato chip aisle.
Homer has dropped his bag of items.

Homer tries to get Bart away from the TV so he won't hear the news...
...but is too late, as Scott Christian announces Krusty's arrest.
Krusty seen on the news after getting arrested.
As shown in archive footage, Krusty was cross-promoting his line of pork products..
...but standing near the active grill gave him a heart attack.
"Say it ain't so, Krusty!"
The court watches the videotape.
Everyone in the court laughs at the sight of Homer jumping iinto the potato chip aisle.
Homer embarrassed at the footage and saying
D'oh.
Krusty admits in the court that he can't read well.
Bart and Lisa look for clues to prove Krusty's innocence.
Lisa points out that if the robber really was Krusty, he wouldn't have been able to use the microwave because it would've hurt his pacemaker.
Bart figures out the final piece of the puzzle.
Bart remembers that when Homer stepped on the tip of the robber's big floppy shoes, the robber screamed in pain...
...yet when he saw Krusty walk up the steps of the courthouse, Bart noticed his feet were too small to fit those floppy shoes all the way!
Sideshow Bob shouts in pain the exact same words the robber said when Homer stepped on his foot, confirming that he is the real culprit.
The police see Bart expose Sideshow Bob's big feet on TV, and realize their mistake.
Sideshow Bob, exposed and arrested for his crime.
Sideshow Bob reveals that the reason he commited the robbery and framed Krusty for it was because he was sick and tired of being humilliated by him.
"Treat kids as equals, they're people too! They're smarter than you think! They were smart enough to catch me!"
With his innocence proven, Krusty is released from prison.
