Kristen Schaal (born January 24, 1978) is an American actress, writer and comedian, best known for her role as Mel in the HBO TV series Flight of the Conchords, as Trixie the Triceratops in Toy Story 3 and beyond, as Louise in Bob's Burgers, as Mabel in Gravity Falls, Shannon in Despicable Me 2, Barb from Cloudy With a Chance Of Meatballs 2 and as a contributor on The Daily Show.
In "Homer Scissorhands", she voiced Taffy, Milhouse Van Houten's love interest. Infamously, she had her name misspelled in the episode's end credits, and thus was credited as Kristen Schall. As an apology, Bart Simpson was assigned to write the correct spelling in detention to apologize on behalf of the writers in the following episode, "500 Keys".
Schaal will guest star as Louise Belcher for the Bob's Burgers/Simpsons couch gag that was going to be shown in Season 29,[1] but for reasons unknown, it will be seen in the Season 30 premiere.[2]
