India is a country in Asia and is Apu Nahasapeemapetilon's home country. Kwik-E-Mart headquarters is located here on the Himalayas and Apu and Homer travel there to get Apu's job back.^[1]

The Springfield Nuclear Power Plant was temporarily outsourced to India and Homer becomes a supervisor for the Plant. There, he meets a relative of Apu.^[2]

To rescue a cow Bart raised, Apu shipped the cow by air to India since cows are sacred animals in the country.^[3]

Krusty the Clown remarked that India nuked Pakistan.^[4]
