The Ice Shelf couch gag is the 18th and final couch gag of Season 28.
Plot[]
The family (except Maggie), in snow suits, are ice climbing to the top of an ice shelf. Homer then asks for the couch, which a sherpa brings up, and the family sits. Another sherpa brings the TV in, but collapses, and the sherpa who brought the couch up is shocked and carries the other sherpa to safety. Maggie appears, who finished her ice climb, but hits her ice axe on Homer's foot, causing the couch and the family (but Maggie) to freeze and shatter.

- This couch gag was originally going to be the couch gag for The Kids Are All Fight, but it was too short (according to Al Jean's twitter), so the A Game of Life couch gag was used instead.
