Syria and an unknown amount other Middle Eastern country faced troubling times and attempted to settle it. However for unknown reasons peace talks are unsuccessful. Due to this Syrian diplomats leave the negotiations in Damascus unable to find a solution. The U.S. Secretary of State offered to intervene but was unsuccessful, it is unknown how the situation ends. When attempting to find a newspaper blooper to win the oops patrol shirt Homer sees the headline.
