The Commanding Officer is the C.O. of Grampa's Company in World War I. He appears in a story Grampa told Bart about WWI.
Biography[]
During World War I, after 8-year-old Abe enlisted to fight in the war (he lied about his age), he is head of his company. Grampa tries to show him his picture he drew. However, he sends him to bed. So, because he is getting cranky, he picks him up and walks away. However, after he walks away with Grampa, two German soldiers jump into the trench. It's unknown if he survived. However, he was carrying Abe and he survived, so it is likely that he did.
