John Armstrong is the Democratic candidate for Springfield's 24th Congressional District's Congressman.
Biography[]
Presumably from the Springfield area, he runs for Congress after Republican Horace Wilcox suffers and dies from a heart attack. Krusty the Clown and Armstrong run to take his place. In the beginning, John is well-liked over the then-terrible candidate Krusty. He led a smear-campaign against Krusty for offensive ads, and it seemed like he had the election in hand. However, Lisa helped Krusty appeal to the common man, thus winning the election over John.

At first, he was well-liked. However, FOX disliked him for his political party. He had seemed to be winning until Lisa helped Krusty, who won public opinion over him.
