The Simpsons Ke$ha Tik Tok

“Tik Tok” is a song originally sung by Kesha. It was written by Kesha, Dr. Luke and Benjamin Levin.

The entire Simpsons cast lip-synced to it in the episode "To Surveil With Love" as part of the "Fox Rocks" week-long event on the Fox Network, which replaced that episode's opening and couch gag.

Overall, this couch gag is the fourteenth couch gag of Season 21.

Plot[]

Lisa wakes up in her room and sings "Wake up in the morning feeling like P. Diddy", and Bart opens a door from behind and says, "Yo, what up girl" in his own voice. The bedroom is actually a set that is being pushed out by children and it ends up being outside of Springfield Elementary School. Lisa then sings, "Grab my glasses, I'm out the door, I'm gonna hit this city" while stealing Milhouse's glasses, and Bart shows up again saying, "Let's go" in his voice.

Groundskeeper Willie walks in with a Jack Daniel's whiskey bottle and a toothbrush in his hands, and sings "Before I leave, brush my teeth, with a bottle of Jack" while putting a drop of Jack Daniel's whiskey on the brush and pretends to brush his teeth. When Willie starts to walk into the school, he gives the Jack Daniel's whiskey to Edna Krabappel, who sings "Cause when I leave for the night, I ain't coming back" while she pours some of it in her mug, drinks it, and pulls Willie into one of the classrooms.

Then, the camera pans to Sherri, Terri, and Martin. who are seen sitting on a bench with pedicures on their toes while singing, "I'm talking pedicures on our toes-toes". The camera then pans to Ralph in the lost-and-found box, who is wearing blue pants the wrong way while singing "Trying on all our clothes-clothes". The camera pans to Skinner and Chalmers dance-walking while Jimbo, Kearney, and Dolph secretly blow up a pair of payphones as the lyrics "Boys blowing up our phones-phones" is sung. The payphones blow up, and the trio jump out of the room and pick up the coins that are left on the floor.

The camera then goes into the band room, where Dewey Largo grooves to the beat while singing, "Drop-topping, playin' our favorite CD's". He opens the door to outside the school, where Otto is pulling up in the school bus while singing, "Pulling up to the party, trying to get a little bit tipsy". When the last pre-chorus line is sung, the camera zooms through the bus door and pans to the front window while Otto acts like he's tripping high and falls to the ground.

The camera pans to Nelson, who is on the bus fist-pumping along with Richard, Lewis, Rod, Todd and many other students in the background while singing "Don't stop, make it pop, DJ blow my speakers up". The camera rapidly pans outside of the bus and zooms into Moe's Tavern, where Sam is fighting a random man, Larry is fighting Barney, and Carl is choking Lenny. Moe and Homer have their arms over one's shoulders while happily singing "Tonight, Imma fight, 'til we see the sunlight".

Suddenly, Marge enters the bar and taps her watch while singing, "Tik tok, on the clock". She pulls Homer away from Moe and out of the bar while Homer nervously sings, "But the party don't stop, no". Then, Snake Jailbird's car passes by and he sings, "Whoa, whoa, oh oh!" while Chief Wiggum's police car passes by afterwards while he and Lou sing, "Whoa, whoa, oh oh!".

As Marge and Homer run home, Apu, Manjula, and the octuplets are outside of the Kwik-E-Mart, holding two signs that say "Thank You" and "Come Again" while singing, "Don't stop, make it pop". The camera pans to Comic Book Guy who is holding a hot dog and a drink while singing, "DJ, blow my speakers up", but before he can eat it, Santa's Little Helper grabs the hot dog and eats it.

While the lyrics "Tonight, Imma fight, 'til we see the sunlight" are sung, a pan of many other characters are seen; Santa's Little Helper running off to play with Snowball V, Abraham Simpson II and Old Jewish Man on scooters, God and the Devil slow-dancing, Ned Flanders with a finger over his lips telling everyone to be quiet, Dr. Hibbert break dancing, Surly Duff, Patty smoking, and Selma luau-dancing.

Marge and Homer get home just in time, where Bart, Lisa, and Maggie are dancing while singing "Tik tok, on the clock". While the line "But the party don't stop, no" is sung, the Simpson family run into the living room and sit on the couch as usual, which is then lifted into the air by several other characters celebrating their arrival, who are Milhouse, Willie, Skinner, Krabappel, and Jimbo once again, as well as Krusty the Clown, Mr. Teeny, Nick Riviera, Rainier Wolfcastle, Drederick Tatum, Jonathan Frink, Duffman, Mr. Burns, and Smithers. The song ends with the Simpsons tired out on the couch, with Maggie notably sucking her pacifier, while all the others are posing for the camera.
