Bart becomes fat from eating the junk food from the vending machines at Springfield Elementary School. He has a heart attack, so his family,Krusty, and Dr. Hibbert have an intervention. They decide to send him to a fat camp to lose weight. He is there with other camp attendees Apu, Rainier Wolfcastle, and Kent Brockman.They must perform daily exercises instructed by camp employee Tab Spangler who is demeaning to them. Tab takes Bart to see his family at their home and how they had to take in borders to pay for the fat camp. Bart decides to lose the weight on his own and gets money for his family from destroying the vending machines at his school.
