SOP Sign

The SOP Sign

There's something strange about that 'Sop' sign....
―EPA worker 1[src]
Look, we can't keep stopping at every "sop", "yeld", or "one vay" sign.
―EPA worker 2[src]

The SOP Sign is a sign that Homer made to distract the EPA workers driving the truck carrying his captive family, in order to stop the truck so Homer could free them with a wrecking ball crane truck. However, it turned out that Homer had failed to knock down the EPA truck, and wound up getting himself stuck on the wrecking ball, which got him caught between a rock and a hard place (literally). The Sop sign alludes to Homer being unable to spell "Stop".
