Powersauce is a brand of energy bar promoted as containing six types of apples. While working out at the All Night Gym, Homer ate a lot of Powersauce bars. But as he consumed the Powersauce bars as he climbed The Murderhorn, it's revealed to him the bars are actually manufactured from apple cores and old Chinese newspapers.
Rainier Wolfcastle was the mascot for Powersauce, which had a slogan of "Unleash the Power of Apples!"
Powersauce are presumed to have gone out of business after it was revealed that the bars are manufactured from apple cores and newspapers, as they are never seen again.
