"Scar Trek: The Next Laceration" is an episode of The Itchy & Scratchy Show.
Plot[]
Scratchy is cruising in his spaceship as Star Trek-esque music plays, eating a sandwich. Itchy pops out of his stomach (like the creatures in Alien), eats the half-digested sandwich, tosses Scratchy into the airlock, and hits the "Blow Hatch" button. Scratchy quickly put on his spacesuit, finishing just in the nick of time before the hatch opens and blows him out into space. Itchy then emerges from the ship in a space pod (like that of 2001: A Space Odyssey), grabs Scratchy with the pod's arms, and cuts him in half using a nearby Saturn-esque planet's rings, which act like the blade on a circular saw. Scratchy's lower half falls toward the planet and burns up in the atmosphere, while his upper half floats free.
Itchy in the pod catches up to Scratchy's upper half and removes Scratchy's space helmet, causing his head to swell up in the vacuum of space. Itchy then punctures Scratchy's inflated head with a pin, causing it to explode and blood to splatter everything in the scene and form the words "THE END" on the screen.
A warning appears after the cartoon: "VIEWER ADVISORY: The preceding program contained scenes of extreme violence and should not have been viewed by young children."

At the time this Itchy & Scratchy episode airs, Homer is undergoing astronaut training. Bart and Lisa find the cartoon highly amusing, but Homer is scared stiff.
