Mount Carlmore is a mountain in West Springfield with Carl Carlson's face carved into the side of it. When passing it on a bus, Lenny dreamily thinks about the one beautiful summer he spent carving it. He and Carl have never discussed the mountain before, for he only mentioned it with Homer on their bus to the oil field.
