Mother Hubbard's Sandwich Cupboard Express is a franchise chain restaurant. Cletus Spuckler and Brandine Spuckler join into the franchise. They run the restaurant hillbilly style with foods not normally eaten in urban restaurants. Their many children are the employees. The franchise's logo ,old mother Hubbard, is a sandwich made to look like an human old lady.
Despite the Spucklers serving extremely questionable food, they get a lot of customers solely because it's an express service.
Behind the Laughter[]
Mother Hubbard comes from the nursery rhyme Old Mother Hubbard.The first verse of the rhyme is : Old Mother Hubbard went to the cupboard, to give the poor dog a bone; When she came there, the cupboard was bare, and so the poor dog had none.
