Smithsonian Museum Robbery couch gag
Words

The Smithsonian Museum Robbery couch gag is the sixteenth couch gag of Season 22.

Plot[]

The couch and the living room are on display at the Smithsonian Museum. The Simpson family breaks into the museum, cat-burglar style, and make their way to the couch by disguising themselves to blend in with the various exhibits they pass through. When they reach the display with the couch and living room, a blast from a spray can reveals that the couch is surrounded by a grid of laser beams, but with gaps shaped like the Simpson family's silhouettes. The family then steps through the gaps and sit on the couch as usual.
