Boris (surname Simpson, Hickman, Olsen, or something else) is a deceased relative of the Simpson family. He was Homer Simpson's granduncle, thus making him the granduncle-in-law of Marge Simpson and the great-granduncle of Bart, Lisa, and Maggie Simpson. Homer tells his family that his great-uncle died, and that he left them in his old country house which is said to be haunted. Homer wants to prove this wrong by spending the weekend there.
