"Bleeder of the Pack" is an episode of The Itchy & Scratchy Show.
Plot[]
Set in 1959, Scratchy is a motorcycle cop flirting with a rabbit waitress. Troublemaking greaser Itchy sneaks up behind Scratchy and chains his tail to a streetlight. He then gets into his car, drives by Scratchy, and yells, "Nuts to you, copper!" Scratchy takes off on his motorcycle, chasing Itchy. When the slack on the chain on his tail runs out, Scratchy's uniform and skin are yanked off and he falls off his motorcycle. Two mice in an ambulance arrive, put Scratchy in the ambulance, and take him to an airport, where they put him on a plane reassuring him he'll be just fine. The plane takes off and Scratchy sighs in relief. Then he notices his fellow passengers are The Big Bopper, Ritchie Valens, and Buddy Holly. They reveal themselves to be vampires and advance on Scratchy. Moments after that, the plane crashes.

- Scratchy gets skinned like many Happy Tree Friends characters.
- Itchy's chain prank is similar to a scene in American Graffiti where teenagers chain a police car's rear axle to a pole, and the police car loses its axle when it chases after the teens.
- The Big Bopper (real name J.P. Richardson) says "Hello, Scratchy!" very similar to how he says "Hello, baby!" at the beginning of the song "Chantilly Lace."
- This cartoon references the fact that The Big Bopper, Ritchie Valens, and Buddy Holly were all killed in a plane crash in real life on February 3, 1959.
- This is the first episode of The Itchy & Scratchy Show shown within The Simpsons which was animated using digital ink and paint.
