The Red Hot Chili Peppers are guest stars in the fourth season finale, “Krusty Gets Kancelled” where they sing Give It Away. Their members are singer Anthony Kiedis, bassist Michael "Flea" Balzary and drummer Chad Smith; while their most recognizable and enduring guitarist is John Frusciante, at the time of their appearance, Arik Marshall was replacing him. Their current guitarist is now John Frusciante after being absent from the band since July 2009.
They are also seen at Moe's Tavern where they were tricked into playing for a crowd of 30,000 people, only to discover Barney is the only audience member there.
