During Nelson's birthday party, there was a man in a costume of Dr. Octopus and said that he could changed birthday presents to homework. Bart and Nelson then beat him with his tentacles after taking them off of his back.
While walking at the Springfield Cemetery, Lisa saw Nick Riviera who was robbing graves. When he noticed her, he pretended to be Dr. Octopus using arms he acquired. Then he told her that she had a check-up on Tuesday and Lisa replied with "we go to a better doctor". Dr. Nick then walked away.
