The Diz-Nee Historical Park is a Civil War site located at the historical Fort Springfield in Springfield. Once open to the public for free, it was taken over by company Diz-Nee who acknowledge the new entry fees in their slogan, "Sorry, but there's profit to be had."

History[]

Bart's class travels to the historical park on a field trip to watch the Civil War reenactment. Once there, Principal Skinner is shocked to discover the attraction's new entry fee. Refusing to pay, Skinner instead instructed the students to spy on the reenactment from behind a fence.

After one reenactment actor notices them, all start chasing the class. After stealing petrol from another school's bus, Otto starts the Springfield Elementary bus just in time for nearly all to escape, but Üter Zörker is left behind and assaulted by the mob.

Trivia[]

  • The park is based on the planned Disney's America theme park, which was announced in 1994 but never got off the ground due to massive backlash.
