Cöuch Gag Manual

The Disney Couch Gag is the couch gag from the Season 27 episode Fland Canyon. It was created by the guest animator Eric Goldberg.

The couch gag has six scenes, five of them are references to classic Walt Disney movies.

  • Maggie's segment is inspired by classic Mickey Mouse episodes, where she starts dancing along with the living room furniture.
  • Lisa's segment is inspired by Cinderella, where she exits a pumpkin wain pulled by Santa's Little Helper and Snowball V, and gets dressed with a magically appearing dress.
  • Marge's segment is inspired by Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, where she's cleaning a house and being helped by Santa's Little Helper, Snowball V and a three-eyed crow.
  • Homer's segment is inspired by The Jungle Book, where he is a bear who picks up food and drinks and eats it all at once.
  • Bart's segment is inspired by Fantasia, where he's the Sorcerer's Apprentice and transforms the Simpsons back to their real selves.

The final scene consists of Homer, Marge, Lisa and Maggie moaning while Bart laughs.
