Thief Revealed is the twelfth Simpsons Butterfinger commercial. It is the second part of Bart Robbed, and the closing commercial of the main contest that was advertised.

Plot []

There is a large crowd outside the Springfield Court Hall, where they are protesting about Bart's missing Butterfinger. The reporter says that the crime from the last ad was finally solved, and says that whoever found out who stole the Butterfinger will receive the $50,000 dollar prize.

Chief Wiggum orders some other police officers to "wheel out" the thief, who is tied up in a dolly. It is shown to be Homer, in which Bart seems very confused and upset over. However, Maggie notices Homer's giant red shoes, which means it was someone else in disguise. After climbing up Homer's body, she rips off a mask, which reveals that Krusty was actually the one who stole the Butterfinger, which shocks Bart.

Krusty laughs, and Bart shows a very unnerved look. Krusty sighs, and tries to make his escape. He hops away from Bart, Maggie, and Chief Wiggum before falling down the Hall's stairs.

The reporter then reiterates that Krusty was the one who stole the Butterfinger, and is about to reveal who won the cash prize, which turned out to be Nancy Fredholm from Hudson, New Hampshire, which is shown on a newspaper.

The commercial closes inside the prison, with Krusty being wheeled off into a cell by Chief Wiggum, and Bart congratulating Nancy again in a detective outfit.
