The Bouvier family is more of an enigma than the Simpson Family. The Family has French roots, as mentioned in the episode "The Color Yellow".

• Patty and Selma smoke, like their parents, Jacqueline and Clancy Bouvier.
• Marge has her hair up like her mom, Jacqueline Bouvier, in her youth, Jacqueline had her hair identical to Marge's.
• Jacqueline, Patty and Selma's voices have deteriorated due to smoking.

• Marge is the only family member to conserve her natural voice.
