The instructor at Camp Land-A-Man's name is unknown, but she is an elderly woman who instructs at the all girls' summer camp. She teaches them proper ettiquette such as depriving themselves dessert, walking with their heels together, using the correct utensils during meals, and to be beautiful.
She praises Marge for her proper way of sitting and walking and punishes when the girls did wrong. An instance of this would be when Helen Lovejoy was using the wrong fork during their meal. The woman told her, "Young lady, that is not an olive fork! Here's a simple trick to help you remember," and stuck the fork in the girl's hand.
