Bart's Nightmare is the forty-third Simpsons short and originally aired on The Tracey Ullman Show March 26, 1989.

Plot[]

While wiping the tables in the kitchen of the house, Marge discovers there is only one cookie left and tells Homer about it. Homer then asks Lisa and Maggie who swiped the rest of them, which Lisa responds by telling him to not look at them. Bart is then shown laying on his bed in his room with a balloon belly & cookie crumbs all over him before he falls asleep and then starts having a nightmare about the ominous heads of Homer, Marge, Lisa, and Maggie appears and say quotes from the earlier Tracey Ullman short The Shell Game. Bart then is on a kitchen floor and is a very small size and desperate for the cookie jar, which falls on the floor and breaks apart into pieces, and the shadow of an angry Homer appear, getting ready to pounce on Bart, & a nervous Bart begins to repeatedly tell him that he didn't do it, and then his family wakes him up telling him he had a nightmare, but when Homer offers Bart a cookie, it only to have Bart scream out of fear, not wanting anything to do with anymore cookies for right now.
