Argentina, officially the Argentine Republic, is the second largest country in Latin America by land area, the fourth largest country in the Americas after USA, Canada and Brazil, the eight-largest country in the world by land area and the largest among Spanish-speaking nations. It is one of the southernmost countries in south america.
Argentina was mentioned in several occasions in The Simpsons, first in Treehouse of Horror II when Lisa wishes for world peace to the magic monkey hand. When it is declared, the representatives of England and Argentina at the United Nations embrace each other.
Bart ordering pizza at home delivered by Krusty, but when the clown arrives, Bart turns on the television and see that the show is not live. In the program being broadcast, Krusty gets last-minute cable and says, "Uh! Children, stay calm. The Falkland Islands have just been invaded. I repeat, the Falklands have just been invaded! In search of the headquarters of the female representative of Argentina in Buenos Aires proposed Committee. 
Lisa is elected president of the Student Center from school after Martin was forced to resign. The chapter is a parody of the movie Evita by Alan Parker. Lisa is characterized by hair and dress accordingly. The episode ends with a caption that says "On the advice of our lawyers, we swear we've never heard of a musical based on the life of Eva Peron."

When Selma throws a bucket of fire ants (Solenopsis invicta) to the sink. These ants are not native to the United States, and recently found that arrived there in the decade 1930-40 as stowaways on ships that came from Argentina.
