Amelia Vanderbuckle was a feminist inventor who lived in Springfield in the 19th century.

She was the first female graduate of Springfield Tech. She invented some things, such as a rudimentar computer using a loom and a steam-powered barber chair, which failed as it decapitated a man. She was later diagnosed with acute feminine overreachism and commited to the Springfield Home for the Criminally Different, hiding her rudimentar computer under a feminist club.
