It's a very tough choice. I would say Homer's my fave. I have other fav characters, too, including Marge, Bart, Lisa, Maggie, Comic Book Guy, Nelson, Martin, Skinner, Chalmers, Mr. Burns, Smithers, Troy McClure, Professor Frink, Grampa, Moe, Barney, Lenny, Carl, Apu, and a few others.
I'm not sure why Fox decided to add that episode on two different DVD compilations.
I have heard of it, and I really don't like it. The main plot is okay, but the sub-plot with Marge being uncomfortable breastfeeding is very stupid.
Fuzzy Slippers, what I'm saying is that Season 1 is my least favorite season, but there's only one or two later seasons that I don't like, too, besides the first one. It is because that's the point where the show gets a little good, but just starting off with not too bad episodes, and the season doesn't get REALLY good until season 2 through 10-ish. Also, the Season 1 animation looks nothing like Season 2 onwards in my opinion (i.e. frequent use of ugly gradient colors (more prominent in Bart the Genius, Homer's Odyssey, and Some Enchanted Evening), VERY ugly-shaped tan clouds (especially in Bart the Genius, Homer's Odyssey, There's No Disgrace Like Home, Bart the General, Moaning Lisa, and briefly in Call of the Simpsons and Telltale Head) which became better from Life on the Fast Lane onwards), and don't get me started on the cheesy Season 1 opening.
I only like Season 1 because of the first episode, "Simpsons Roasting on an Open Fire". That episode is very memorable, a kick start to the best cartoon ever, and it's a Christmas episode. However, I also like "Krusty Gets Busted", "There's No Disgrace Like Home", "Bart the General" (despite the worst frequent use of those tan clouds), "Moaning Lisa", "Call of the Simpsons", "Life on the Fast Lane", "Homer's Night Out", and "The Crepes of Wrath" if you check out my favorite episode list on my profile.
If you're talking about the font used in the superimposed opening credits (that is always superimposed over the first scene of an episode) and in the end credits, that font is known as "Matt", but on DaFont.com, it is known as the "Homer Simpson" font. The version seen in DaFont is the version of the Matt font that the show has been using since "Scenes from the Class Struggle in Springfield". There used to be a differently thin version of the font that was used from "Simpsons Roasting on an Open Fire" to "Two Bad Neighbors".
But if you're talking about what font they used in the title card, I have no idea what font the title card uses, but it could possibly be a custom font.
As for the officially licensed logo, they use the "Akbar" font, which is also used on Frinkiac.com.
It's a tough choice for me, but I kinda like them all actually, including the currently-running Season 29. In my opinion, both the good seasons and the bad seasons are not too shabby for me.
I think you're just going crazy. I don't see any Big Bird-like bird in the old opening sequences. I think you're just hallucinating.
In my opinion, I do like Bart the Daredevil, Black Widower, Selma's Choice, Mayored to the Mob, and Three Men and a Comic Book. I somewhat like Life on the Fast Lane and Some Enchanted Evening, but not as much. I really don't care for Homer's Odyssey, because its one of my least favorite episodes (Homer getting fired from his nuclear technician job just for crashing into a vent pipe is completely stupid, and don't get me started on Homer attempting to commit suicide just for not having enough money to buy a beer and that his life is miserable only because of getting fired), and its from my least favorite Simpsons season.
I think both of those futures are part of the same future.
The only episodes that I know of where Lisa doesn't have any lines but appears are "Chief of Hearts" and, more recently, "Moho House".
Yep. Just compared the character with Usopp and they do look similar.
Yep. Let's hope no bad users take over this.
